Job Summary
The RUTH LAW FIRM, LLC is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The firm primarily handles estate planning (Wills, Trusts, and Advance Directives). In this role, you will support the attorney by scheduling appointments, returning phone calls, processing files, and ensuring smooth case progression. Your expertise in client communication and file management will be essential to uphold the integrity and efficiency of our legal operations. Paralegal certification is not required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible in compliance with confidentiality protocols
- Perform data entry tasks related to case information and client communication using Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software
- Communicate effectively with clients and other professionals to facilitate case progress and gather necessary information
- Handle administrative duties such as filing documents with courts, managing deadlines, and maintaining case logs
Experience
- Excellent Communication Skills and the ability to effectively multi-task
- Strong analysis skills combined with excellent writing abilities for drafting client communication
- Ability to manage files in a consistent manner, to spot any inconsistencies, and to fill gaps
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Demonstrated organizational skills for managing multiple files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure error-free documentation and correspondence

Pay: $42,000.00 - $47,500.00 per year
