Chocolate Molder/Specialty Candy Decorator

Position Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Seasonally, Saturdays are required.

Role and Responsibilities

The position of Chocolate Molder/Specialty Candy Decorator consists of hand-crafting specialty chocolate molds, as well as coating and decorating a variety of other candies. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys detailed, hands-on work and has a creative eye.

Tasks

• Filling molds with chocolate, ensuring chocolate is tempered correctly.
• Hand-painting and decorating chocolate molds with fine details.
• Managing inventory of molded items, including molds for corporate accounts.
• Hand-dipping certain candy items, such as Oreos, pretzel rods, etc.
• Bagging finished products and tying with ribbon in a neat fashion.
• Work with other factory staff as needed, performing various duties around the factory.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multi-task while managing multiple priorities
• Fine motor skills for painting fine details on candy molds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift at least 35 pounds
• Creativity/artistic ability
• Basic math skills
• Organizational skills
