Postdoc in Reinforcement Learning

Rutgers Statistics is hiring a postdoc in Reinforcement Learning, working with Prof Zhiqiang Tan and Prof Yifan Hu. 

Directions:

1. Theory and algorithmic development of reinforcement learning
2. Reinforcement learning with human feedback
3. Robust and safe RL

Qualifications. 

1. Completed or close to completion of PhD in mathematics, statistics, operations research, computer science, or related fields.
2. Expertise in reinforcement learning and ability to conduct rigorous theoretical analysis.
3. Experiences in coding with RL environments.
4. Experience publishing in peer-reviewed conferences or journals in relevant fields.
5. Familiarity with algorithm design, optimization techniques, and mathematical modeling.
6. Published RL related papers as leading author on ML conferences/journals.
