Rutgers Statistics is hiring a postdoc in Reinforcement Learning, working with Prof Zhiqiang Tan and Prof Yifan Hu.
Directions:
- Theory and algorithmic development of reinforcement learning
- Reinforcement learning with human feedback
- Robust and safe RL
Qualifications.
- Completed or close to completion of PhD in mathematics, statistics, operations research, computer science, or related fields.
- Expertise in reinforcement learning and ability to conduct rigorous theoretical analysis.
- Experiences in coding with RL environments.
- Experience publishing in peer-reviewed conferences or journals in relevant fields.
- Familiarity with algorithm design, optimization techniques, and mathematical modeling.
- Published RL related papers as leading author on ML conferences/journals.
