Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Instructor/Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in Animal Sciences, located in Princeton, NJ. The individual will engage in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses within the field of animal sciences, developing innovative curriculum materials, and mentoring students. Additional responsibilities include maintaining an active presence in the department's academic programs, assisting with research initiatives, and participating in service and outreach activities.
Qualifications
- Expertise in areas such as Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or a closely related field
- Teaching experience at the college or university level, with strong communication and mentoring skills
- Knowledge of academic course design, curriculum development, and student assessment methods
- Research experience in related fields, with the ability to collaborate and contribute to departmental research goals
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic and professional environments
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Animal Sciences or related field preferred
- Experience with public speaking, community outreach, or engagement in professional organizations is an asset
