What are the responsibilities and job description for the Window Cleaning Technician – Full-Time (Washington) position at Rusty's Window Cleaning?
Rusty’s Window Cleaning is hiring a dependable, motivated Window Cleaning Technician to join our growing Washington team.
This is not a janitorial or maid service position. Our technicians provide professional residential and commercial window cleaning (up to 3 stories) using commercial-grade equipment, water-fed pole systems, and the latest industry tools.
This is a year-round position with opportunities to work with our sister company, Rusty’s Holiday Lights, during the winter season assisting with holiday light installation and removal.
Pay & Schedule
Pay:
- Starting at $20 per hour (based on experience & performance)
- Overtime opportunities during peak seasons
- Occasional weekend work available
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Occasional Saturdays (with advance notice)
- Seasonal flexibility for winter holiday lighting projects
Job Responsibilities
- Clean interior and exterior windows, frames, and screens on residential and commercial properties (1–3 stories)
- Use ladders, water-fed pole systems, and professional-grade equipment safely and effectively
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Rusty’s professionally at all job sites
- Assist with daily job prep, routing, and equipment maintenance
- Track time, notes, and job details through our mobile system (Jobber)
- Follow all safety policies, including ladder and fall-protection guidelines
- Assist with holiday light installations and removals during the winter season
Requirements
- Must pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- 25 years old to operate company vehicles (insurance requirement)
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and climb ladders up to 24 ft regularly
- Comfortable working outdoors in Washington weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and professional
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
