CNC Machinist / ProgrammerWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. You’ll work in a lead role to ensure high-quality output and continuous improvement. Shift: Day Shift overtime as requiredSalary: $23-$28 p/h, based on skill levelKey Responsibilities:Program CNC machines using G-code and CAM software ( Fusion 360, etc.)Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipmentRead and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD modelsPerform quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM)Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes for efficiencyMaintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environmentCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Qualifications:Proven experience as a CNC Machinist and Programmer (5 years preferred)Proficiency in CNC programming and setupStrong understanding of machining principles and materialsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&TProven skills with CAM software and CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Fusion 360, etc.)Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plusMust have general computer skills - proficient in Microsoft products is idealWhat We Offer:Climate-controlled shopGenerous Paid time off and 9 holidaysOpportunities for advancement and trainingA supportive and innovative work environmentCompany DescriptionFounded in 2018, Rusty's Machine & Tool was created to respond to the ongoing need for quality work of tooled machining parts from customers in several industries.
