What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Clerk position at Rustica Hardware?
Job Description:
Rustica is seeking to hire a talented Shipping Clerk to join the team. This position will execute a variety of job duties but will primarily be responsible for keeping accurate and timely records for the crating and shipping of our high-end custom doors. In addition, the position will be expected to assist the team with moving and packaging heavy doors to prepare for shipping. The pace if fast, the schedule is the best (4/10 Monday-Thursday) and the chance to learn and grow is available. Please apply if you are interested.
Job Requirements:
1-2 years of shipping experience strongly preferred (or someone with the basic knowledge we can train)
Proficient communication and computer skills with the aptitude to learn new software
Detail-oriented and multi-tasking skills
Excellent organization and administrative skills
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Forklift experience helpful
Constant lifting, bending, twisting relative to moving doors and packaging doors in shipping crates
Ability to regularly lift 75 lbs on a regular basis
Work Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm
