As a Community Caregiver, you'll provide personalized support to individuals in their homes and communities, helping them remain safe, engaged, and empowered. Every day brings new opportunities to encourage growth, celebrate accomplishments, and create lasting connections with the people we serve.
What You'll Do
- Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Provide companionship, encouragement, and meaningful social interaction
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding support, and healthy nutrition habits
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
- Document services accurately using electronic documentation systems
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral needs, memory care needs, and other specialized care requirements
- Accompany individuals to community activities, appointments, and recreational outings
- Work closely with families, nurses, and care teams to ensure quality, person-centered care
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice in all aspects of care
What We're Looking For
- Experience in caregiving, home care, community-based services, assisted living, or related healthcare settings preferred
- Knowledge of personal care, vital signs, medication reminders, and basic health and safety practices
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease is a plus
- Ability to safely operate assistive devices and follow care plans
- Strong communication skills, reliability, patience, and a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
