What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Rustic Canyon?
Rustic Canyon Restaurant in Santa Monica is looking for a FOH Crossover Bartender/Server position. Rustic Canyon is a farm-to-table, hyper seasonal restaurant which has become a staple in LA's industry over the past 20 years.
Our ideal candidate is a seasoned, fine dining server with a deep knowledge of wine, cocktails, and cuisine. Must have experience as a bartender with extensive knowledge of seasonal ingredients and ability to learn heavily crafted, intricately designed, ingredient focused cocktails. The Crossover Server serves as the one of our strongest FOH positions, with the strength and ability to vacillate between taking a full section as a Server to supporting our Lead Bartender as Barback and 2nd Bartender. This position requires both scheduled serving shifts as well as scheduled barbacking/bartending shifts.
We deeply value teamwork and expect a candidate who sees the whole room and not just their section. Passion for the industry is a necessity. We take what we do seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We are fine dining in it's most casual setting, with high importance on accuracy and time management.
We are open for dinner only.
