Role Description
The Pizza Chef will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of fresh, high-quality New York-style pizzas and other Italian dishes. Day-to-day tasks include preparing ingredients, managing food hygiene practices, crafting pizzas and sauces, and ensuring all dishes are made to the company’s quality standards. The role also involves collaborating with kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Spring, TX, where teamwork, culinary skills, and a dedication to food excellence are essential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Preparation and Cooking techniques, especially for pizza and Italian cuisine
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards and practices
- Understanding of food and beverage operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Experience in preparing sauces and toppings to high-quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and consistency
- Ability to work in a collaborative team setting
- Prior experience as a pizza chef or in a similar role is highly preferred
- Culinary certifications or equivalent culinary training is a plus
