Russo Operational Consulting Group (ROC) is supporting a growing civil construction firm in their search for a Mid-Level Civil Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated estimator who wants to take the next step in their career and be part of a company known for delivering quality infrastructure, utility, and site development projects across the region.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects, including earthwork, utilities, water mains, hydro-vac, matting, excavation, foundations, and site development.
• Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to identify project requirements and critical cost elements.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to align estimates with operational plans.
• Support bid proposals and client presentations, contributing to overall estimating strategy and competitiveness.
• Utilize tools such as Microsoft 365, Propeller, Trimble, and GIS platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of sitework, utilities, and concrete/foundation scopes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.
• Experience with digital takeoff and estimating tools preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
