What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Sales Stocker position at Russo Hardware?
Position Summary:
The Commercial stocker’s main responsibility is to stock the incoming equipment and whole good inventory as it is brought to his/her attention.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Maintaining the overstock of all products located at the showroom floor/warehouse
- Filing displays, helping walk-in customers, picking orders at the request of the Sales Associate
- Loads/unloads customer vehicles as requested by the cashier or other management
- Responsible for the daily cleaning of the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, buffing of the floor, cleaning of the display equipment, and maintenance of displays on the sales floor
- Following proper Russo safety procedures and standards
- Other tasks as defined by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be detail oriented and organized
- The ability to take direction and think on your feet
- The ability to convey information clearly and effectively
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Bilingual is a plus
Credentials and Experience:
- No previous experience necessary
Physical Demands
- Employee must possess ability to lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing between to 40-50lbs
- Required to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and climb to perform work
- May be required to stand, walk and use hands-fingers for long periods of time
