Position Summary
Full-Time RN Charge Nurse in Med/Surg!
The Charge Nurse is a Registered Nurse equipped with the clinical expertise necessary for effectively assessing patient care needs. This role embodies accountability in coordinating age-specific patient care and acts as a clinical resource for staff during assigned shifts or within the unit. The Charge Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient care, delegating tasks, and ensuring staff accountability for the outcomes achieved. With a focus on maintaining high standards of care, the Charge Nurse plays a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Their duties include overseeing patient admissions and discharges, managing staffing levels to ensure optimal coverage, and facilitating effective communication among the healthcare team. Requirements
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required; a BSN is preferred.

- Exceptional communication skills for effective interactions with patients and staff.
Education
Current Alabama RN license is required. A BSN is preferred. Must complete Hospital-based ACLS and PALS within one year of employment.
