Live Event Video Specialist

We’re a live event & production company based in Ann Arbor, MI and we’re seeking an experienced AV Technician to join our live events team. Nights and weekends will be required at times, and candidates should expect a variable schedule based on the needs of the events. Some travel may be required.

An outgoing professional personality, clean appearance, industry experience, and knowledge of event logistics preferred.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

· Proper and safe setup, operation, and strike of audio, video, camera, lighting, and staging equipment is required, along with loading and unloading of company vehicles

• Lifting and physical work are required, upwards of 50 pounds
• Interact with clients and staff in a positive and professional manner
• Work with shop staff to prep and pack gear for live events
• Responsible for driving company vehicles (from small passenger vans to 26’ box trucks)

· A professional and corporate appearance is a must for this position. Will be regularly interacting with high-level executives

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· The ability to work with and troubleshoot advanced audio, video and lighting systems

· Be self-motivated, but can work well in a team environment

· Candidate needs to be able to successfully interact with clients on site, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

· An understanding and proficiency in live web-streaming using Wirecast

· Well versed in the usage of Microsoft PowerPoint

• Proficient at basic editing within the Adobe CC suite

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3-5 years of relevant work experience

· Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a technical field preferred

· Valid drivers license

COMPENSATION

Rate will be based on experience level.
