What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Event Marketing Manager position at Russell Tobin?
This role will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop strategic event initiatives, manage complex event programs, and deliver exceptional attendee experiences across the Americas region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage 10 mid/high-complexity events annually from strategy through execution
• Develop event strategies aligned with business and commercial priorities
• Oversee project plans, budgets, experiential activations, content development, and amplification strategies
• Partner with stakeholders to create Event Briefs and support experience-led marketing initiatives
• Identify opportunities for cross-collaboration and content syndication across the Global Events Calendar
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regions and time zones to ensure seamless execution
Qualifications:
• 8 years of experience in Event Marketing, Brand Marketing, or Experiential Activations
• Strong project and event management experience with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, OneDrive, and event technology platforms such as Cvent
• Prior people management experience is a plus
