Sales Development Representative (Field Sales)

Location: Macon, GA

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Compensation: $29/hour on W2 Uncapped Commission

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join a growing field sales team focused on expanding partnerships with small and medium-sized businesses across emerging markets. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, prospecting new business, and closing deals in a fast-paced environment.

This is a field-based position requiring regular travel throughout the assigned territory to meet business owners and decision-makers face-to-face.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and engage new business opportunities within assigned territories.
• Conduct in-person meetings with business owners and key stakeholders.
• Present value propositions and partnership opportunities to prospective clients.
• Negotiate agreements and successfully close new business partnerships.
• Manage a high-volume sales pipeline and transactional sales cycle.
• Utilize a combination of inside and outside sales techniques to achieve sales goals.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to execute territory growth strategies.
• Travel regularly throughout designated markets to support business development efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in a closing role.
• Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) preferred.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage territory-based sales activities.
• Comfortable with frequent travel and face-to-face client interactions.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling to restaurants, hospitality businesses, or food and beverage establishments.
• Background in outside sales, business development, merchant services, advertising sales, SaaS, or related industries.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to develop and execute market growth strategies.

Additional Information

• Travel is required and may include day trips, overnight stays, and extended driving within assigned territories.
• Travel-related expenses will be reimbursed.
• Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate plus uncapped commission opportunities based on performance.
