Title: Product Manager (Integrity & Compliance Analyst)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 months (06/08/2026 – 12/18/2026)
Pay Range: $23-28/hr. on W2
Job Description:
Support product testing, quality assurance, vendor compliance, and regulatory initiatives across multiple consumer product categories. Partner closely with sourcing, production, design, merchandising, legal, vendors, and third-party testing laboratories to ensure products meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
This role supports a growing product integrity and compliance program focused on product safety, quality standards, vendor management, testing coordination, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Job Functions:
- Coordinate product testing, inspection, and compliance activities across multiple product categories.
- Partner with sourcing, production, design, merchandising, legal, and vendor teams to address quality and regulatory requirements.
- Support vendor onboarding, training, and implementation of product integrity and compliance programs.
- Monitor testing results, inspection outcomes, and vendor performance to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with third-party laboratories to ensure testing is completed according to established protocols and timelines.
- Review product testing documentation and assist with issue resolution related to product quality and compliance.
- Maintain compliance records, testing documentation, and departmental reporting.
- Generate reports and data analysis to support vendor assessments and sourcing decisions.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders regarding product safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Stay current on evolving domestic and international regulatory requirements impacting consumer products.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
- Knowledge of product testing, quality assurance, product safety, and regulatory compliance programs.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Interest in product quality, sustainability, compliance, and consumer product safety.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of professional experience in product integrity, product testing, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, product safety, vendor compliance, or related functions.
- Experience within apparel, fashion, jewelry, consumer products, or similar industries is highly preferred.
- Experience working with testing laboratories and familiarity with regulations such as CPSIA, CPSC, FTC, Prop 65, or REACH is a plus.
