Position: No-Fault Claims Adjuster
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 (reflective of experience)
Responsibilities:
- Review, input, and process No-Fault claims, ensuring compliance with Regulation 68 and all applicable regulatory time frames.
- Manage communication with insurance companies, handling data entry for claims, medical records, vendor bills, and related documentation.
- Utilize ADR provider’s online dispute resolution platform to track and manage arbitration filings.
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, photocopying, scanning, and maintaining organized records.
- Identify missing information, verify claim details, and ensure timely follow-up to keep all cases moving efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Proven understanding of Regulation 68, New York No-Fault Arbitration, and the overall No-Fault claims process.
- Ability to read and interpret medical reports, medical terminology, and legal concepts with accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with worker compensation fee schedules; Adjuster License is a plus.
- 5 years of experience working on no-fault claims in New York
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
