Title: HR Activation Lead
Location: Burlington, MA
Schedule: Hybrid schedule- Onsite 3 days per week T,W,TH and Remote M/F
Contract Length: 6 - 12 month - with the intent to convert to full-time
Pay Rate: $64.79 - $75.35 per hour on W2
Russell Tobin is seeking a seeking an experienced HR Activation Lead to serve as the critical link between global program leadership and local market teams during a large-scale HR transformation initiative. This role will drive program activation, change enablement, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful adoption and execution across multiple countries and business functions.
The ideal candidate is a strong HR program manager with experience supporting global HR transformations, enterprise change initiatives, and complex stakeholder environments. This individual will be responsible for facilitating communication, ensuring alignment across teams, managing risks and escalations, and driving successful program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between global program leadership and country-level stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives, priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate program activation activities across multiple regions, markets, and functional teams.
- Drive change enablement efforts to support adoption of new HR processes, technologies, and operating models.
- Facilitate effective communication between global and local teams, ensuring timely information flow and issue resolution.
- Manage stakeholder engagement across HR, Payroll, Operations, IT, and business leadership teams.
- Track program progress, identify risks, and proactively escalate issues requiring leadership attention.
- Lead governance activities, including status reporting, steering committee preparation, action tracking, and meeting facilitation.
- Support deployment readiness activities, including training coordination, communications planning, and change impact assessments.
- Ensure country-specific requirements and business needs are understood and represented within the broader global program.
- Partner with project managers, workstream leads, and business stakeholders to maintain alignment and execution discipline.
- Monitor key milestones and deliverables to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
- Drive continuous communication and engagement strategies to maintain stakeholder commitment throughout the transformation lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in HR program management, HR transformation, change management, or large-scale business transformation initiatives.
- Experience supporting global or multi-country HR programs and deployments.
- Demonstrated success coordinating cross-functional teams in complex organizational environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience facilitating governance processes, status reporting, and risk management activities.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive execution across multiple workstreams.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting HR technology implementations such as Workday, SuccessFactors, UKG, Oracle HCM, or similar platforms.
- Background in change management, organizational effectiveness, or transformation programs.
- Experience working within consumer products, manufacturing, retail, or large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with global operating models and regional deployment strategies.
- Change management certification (Prosci or similar) preferred.
- PMP, Agile, or other project management certification preferred.
