The Science Team at Russell Tobin and Associates is hiring an "Associate Scientist-Analytical Development" for a top leading biotechnology organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute analytical assays for cell therapy characterization and GMP release testing
- Support assay qualification, validation, and transfer to QC
- Perform cell-based assays, flow cytometry, immunoassays, and product characterization studies
- Support aseptic human T-cell culture and process monitoring
- Maintain detailed experimental documentation and analyze/present scientific data
- Assist with SOPs, technical reports, and analytical method development
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or related field
- 5 years of biotech/lab experience
- Strong experience in human T-cell biology, cell-based assays, and flow cytometry
- Hands-on aseptic cell culture experience with primary cells and cell lines
- Experience with assay development/testing and laboratory documentation
- Strong communication and data analysis skills
Preferred
- Cell therapy industry experience
- Experience with ELISA, potency/cytotoxicity assays, Luminex
- Familiarity with qPCR/ddPCR and electrophoresis
- DOE-based assay development experience
Additional Details:
- Location: San Diego, CA
- Position Type: 6-Month Contract (Extension Possible)
- Pay rate approved: $40-45/hr. on W2 depending on experience
