GENERAL DESCRIPTION:This position oversees the day-to-day operation of the Wheeling Area TrainingCenter for the Handicapped (WATCH) which includes management of the following: Staff, regulatory compliance, allocation and maintenance of WATCH resources, managing transportation and the 5310-grant program, management of production contracts, ensures quality vocational services and conducts community outreach.The Watch Manager must be familiar with Title XIX IDD Waiver, and/or private funding sources for rehabilitation and/or clinical services. A requisite of this position is maintaining the highest level of confidentiality to completely safeguard consumer, employee, and agency information. QUALIFICATIONS:Associate degree or equivalent training and experience in behavioral health services, business management, accounting, marketing, human resources management, or other related human services or business field: orMinimum of five (5) years of experience in health care, human services, or business field with a demonstrated pattern of progressively more managerial positions and/or assignments, and competency in administrative duties. RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS:Ensure adequately trained and competent staff to meet all required staffing ratiosEnsures that all contractual obligations and reporting are maintained for Workshop Development Grant with WVDRSEnsures that agency governmental funding audits are successfully completedCommunicate with the supervisors to ensure processes and supplies are being utilized appropriately when consumers are in the community completing contractual workAssists in the establishment of Watch's annual goalsDevelops and monitoring of budgetsMonitors monthly financial reports and responds to any budget variancesDocuments wages and productionTrains supervisors and all direct care staff on how to properly document and submit all billable information that meets ICF or Waiver billing standardsEnsures that vocational and employment programs are implemented and maintained in accordance with agency and funding source standards.Please note this job description is not intended to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this position. Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
