Ultrasound Technologist (Full-Time Days Call)

Performs age specific ultrasound procedures utilizing the necessary independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in order to obtain diagnostic sonograms.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Ultrasound or Radiologic Technology.

EXPERIENCE: One year diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: BLS certification will be obtained within 90 days of employment. Must be a Registered Sonographer in good standing with ARDMS and/or ARRT.

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Diagnostic Ultrasound Equipment, Computers.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of ultrasound examinations. Knowledge of ultrasound equipment. Knowledge of Radiation Safety. Knowledge of patient transportation methods. Good communication skills. Good customer service skills. Good ethical and professional conduct.
