RN Med-Surg (Weekender 7pm-7am)

Provides professional nursing care through the assessment, treatment, and education of patients in accordance with physicians’ treatment plans. Cares for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical issues or are recovering from surgery. Average 5:1 nurse to patient ratio, but no more than 6:1.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Associate Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE: No experience required
LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Registered Nurse. BLS certification within 90 days of hire required. Med-Surg: ACLS certification preferred
EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Patient therapeutic equipment/machines or their reasonable accommodation.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of appropriate patient population growth and development.

SCHEDULE: Full Time Night Shift 7pm-7am, every Saturday and Sunday
Weekender employees will be considered full-time employees guaranteed a minimum schedule of twenty-four (24) hours every weekend and will be paid for 32 hours.
