RN Maternal Child Unit: FT (7p-7a)

TEMPORARY 13 WEEK NURSING ASSIGNMENT
SCHEDULE: Full Time Night Shift 7pm-7am, (3) 12 hour shifts per week
NOT eligible for benefits at this time. This position could transition into a permanent role in the future.

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides professional nursing care through the assessment, treatment, and education of patients in accordance with physician’s treatment plans.
**Must train to be able to work in every Dept. on 3rd floor including OB, Nursery, Peds, and Post-partum.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE: Experience preferred
LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Current Registered Nurse License. BLS within 90 days of hire required. ACLS required within one year of employment. NRP and PALS certifications must be obtained within two years of employment on the unit.
EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS: Office machines, computer terminal, diagnostic equipment, patient therapeutic equipment/machines, and fetal monitor equipment.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of appropriate patient population growth and development.
