Respiratory Therapist (FT 3p-11p)

Full-Time with Benefits
Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm

Provides professional cardiopulmonary diagnostic testing and care through the assessment, treatment, and education of patients in accordance with the physician orders.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent

EXPERIENCE: 6-months experience preferred. Experience in EKG, and PFT preferred

LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS:
- Current LRT, CRT, or RRT Credentials
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire required
- ACLS certification within 12 months of hire
- Current Licensed to practice respiratory care in the state of Alabama

EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, AND WORK AIDS: Office machines (i.e., copier, fax, telephone), Computer terminal/personal computer, Hand tools, Power tools, Diagnostic equipment, Patient therapeutic equipment/machines (suction, percussors, etc.) and Ventilatory support devices.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Must demonstrate the ability to understand the unique needs of different age groups of
patients treated.
