Job Summary
Responsible for answering Multi-Line Telephone system, scheduling and attending correct patient, assignment of patient to appropriate provider and type of visit, verifies and updates patient data and, collects co-pay and/ or balance due, balancing, opening and closing of cash drawer daily, faxing, filing, scanning, sorting mail. MUST provide excellent customer service at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Advanced clerical training preferred
Experience
Preferred: Basic working knowledge of computers, excellent customer service with good verbal and written communication skills, 2 years medical office experience, knowledge of insurance regulations, collections, Medical terminology

EMR System, Windows, General Office Equipment, Multi-Line Telephone System, Credit/Debit Card Machine, Insurance Verification Software, Medical Necessity Software
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Good working knowledge of computer and keyboard operations as well as general office equipment; Capable of an accurate exchange of verbal and written information; Can write legibly and speak and read English; Knowledge of medical terms and exams/procedures
