We’re looking for a technically minded designer who can think spatially, solve problems, and communicate effectively. You’ll collaborate with an experienced designer/Mechanical Engineer to produce accurate engineered wood layouts and solutions for residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create and review Engineered Wood Product (EWP) designs and layouts using CAD software
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Collaborate with builders, customers, engineers, and sales staff to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions
- Manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Knowledge of residential or light commercial construction
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- EWP experience a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
