About Russell Feed & Supply
We are a local, family-owned and operated feed store who sells feed, pet food, and lawn and garden supplies for Azle and the surrounding communities. We have been in business for over 20 years and have prided ourselves on delivering our signature southern hospitality for anyone who walks through our doors.
We have eight locations across the greater Fort Worth area and the Azle community remains one of our signature locations. We are looking for a responsible, personable, and motivated individual who desires for a career.
The position of Assistant Store Manager role (keyholder) are given training opportunities to learn about the feed, pet, and lawn/garden industry, take part in maintaining and growing our country/customer focused culture, and will be given opportunities to grow within the company.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing a store
- Daily sales paperwork and deposit runs
- Inventory management
- Keeping all staff busy and on task
- Managing staff and writing up employees when necessary
- Ensure a safe work environment
- Resolving any customer issues
- Sound product knowledge
Education
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Skills
Customer Service
Fundamental computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, Point of Sale experience)
Knowledge of animals preferred
Forklift and propane experience preferred
