Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate a delivery vehicle to/from the delivery site, ensuring safety throughout the journey.
- Unload and stock building materials on jobsites as directed by supervisors.
- Physically handle materials with coworkers, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Oversee the safe loading of the delivery vehicle, verifying order accuracy and product quality.
- Obey all traffic laws and weight limits to guarantee safe transportation.
- Supervise and expedite unloading operations at delivery sites, ensuring safe and accurate delivery of building materials.
- Maintain site safety regarding deliveries, adhering to company policies.
- Accurately distribute and place specified building materials as indicated on the order ticket.
- Ensure delivered products are neatly placed and appear presentable.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL - Class A with a good driving record.
- Ability to unload, transport, and position building materials as required.
- Capacity to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts.
- Ability to consistently lift and carry 115lbs with assistance.
