What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator/Production Manager position at Russell Day Restoration?
We're looking for an experienced Estimator / Production Manager to join our growing restoration company.
This position is for someone who understands construction, can manage multiple projects, and knows how to keep jobs moving efficiently from estimate to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate
- Perform jobsite inspections and document project scopes
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and crews
- Manage projects from approval through completion
- Communicate with homeowners, adjusters, and vendors
- Monitor job costs, schedules, and production progress
- Maintain accurate job documentation and photos
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards
Qualifications:
- Experience in restoration, construction, or insurance repairs
- Xactimate experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of residential construction
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple active jobs
- Leadership skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Valid driver's license
