Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role based in Newburyport, MA. The Salesperson will assist customers in selecting Verizon wireless plans, devices, and accessories that meet their needs, while providing clear product explanations and answering questions. Daily activities include greeting customers, conducting needs assessments, presenting product options, processing sales transactions, and handling device activations and upgrades. The role also involves maintaining store displays, monitoring inventory, and following company policies and procedures. The Salesperson will work toward individual and store sales goals, participate in ongoing training, and collaborate with team members to ensure a positive in-store experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to deliver friendly, professional support to a diverse customer base.
- Sales and persuasion skills, including comfort discussing pricing, closing sales, and meeting or exceeding performance targets.
- Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn about mobile devices, wireless plans, and accessories to explain features and troubleshoot common issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, clear verbal communication, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
