Job Summary:
We are seeking a Carpenter/Driver to join our team, offering an exciting opportunity for someone interested in combining driving responsibilities with carpentry work. As a Carpenter/Driver, you will operate a box truck for deliveries and assist with carpentry tasks on job sites. This role provides a great chance for career growth within the construction field, with potential for advancement into positions such as Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving & Deliveries:
- Safely operate a box truck to transport materials and equipment to job sites.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Conduct basic maintenance checks on the vehicle and maintain cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with the team and clients regarding delivery schedules.
Carpentry Work:
- Assist with carpentry tasks, including framing, trim work, installations, and basic repairs.
- Work alongside experienced carpenters to learn and develop skills on the job.
- Ensure work is completed to meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, both on-site and in the vehicle.
