What are the responsibilities and job description for the Produce Fresh Cuts Specialist (retail) position at Russ's Market?
We are seeking a Produce Fresh Cut Specialist at our Hastings Russ's Market.
Specific Requirements:
- Ability to produce a variety of product for the fresh cut section, including fruit/veggie trays, salsas and many other freshly prepared produce items
- Ensure department is well-stocked and well-merchandised with fresh product
- Provide the best service possible by maintaining a friendly, professional attitude
- Unloading, stocking, and rotating product. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Follow directives of produce manager
- Train, motivate and direct associates
- Follow company policies and procedures, including safety policies
- Abide by and enforce health department regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
Qualifications:
Previous retail/produce experience preferred, but we will train the right person. Must be at least 18 years old.
