Founded in 1934 and still owned and managed by the same family, Russ' Restaurant has 12 family-owned locations and is constantly looking to add great members to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create delicious and fresh salads
- Provide excellent customer service at the drive-thru (if applicable)
- Ensure food safety and cleanliness
- Assist with other tasks as needed

Description:
The salad person completes the salad counter and dessert case set-up with specified food items. You fill the salad dressings, condiments, and other items assigned as required. The salad person portions desserts placing them onto proper dishware and stores them in the correct units for the service personnel. The salad person is responsible for maintaining a clean,
sanitary, workstation.
Proper communication is necessary. Great teamwork is required throughout the restaurant. Cooperation and timing between kitchen staff and servers are valuable in preparing and presenting food.
Proper sanitation is important. Personal care of washing hands often, the knowledge of proper cooking temperatures, and the awareness of cross-contamination are critical. Russ’ reminds you of some sayings in the food service industry, “if in doubt, throw it out” and “if you are not proud of it, don’t serve it”.
