We are in need of a road service tech. M-F 8 to 5 with some on call nights. Great opportunity to make extra money. Make at least $148.00 per call when on call at night.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests on heavy duty vehicles and equipment to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Repair and replace faulty parts as needed
- Diagnosis and repair engine emissions systems
- Perform steering, suspension and brake work
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed- Repair vehicles over the road and in the shop
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a heavy duty technician
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- DOT Physical
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
