Job Overview:
The Program Coordinator reports to the Executive Director. Their primary role is to manage, coordinate and oversee a variety of community and sports programs and projects. This includes the After School Program, Summer Camp and its staff. The Program Coordinator will plan, schedule and implement a wide variety of activities and sport leagues that ensure our members and guests have a positive experience with their fitness center membership. The Program Coordinator will ensure the safety of all participants by making sure that all RFCC rules and policies are being followed. They must be alert at all times; be courteous and respectful to all staff and participants.
Duties//Responsibilities:
- Oversee the After School Program & Summer Camp including those employed to assist with the program
- Develop, coordinate and manage a variety of sport and community programs appropriate for the Fitness Center that align with the mission of the facility
- This individual will be fiscally responsible for the budgets of all programs they oversee.
- Observe the area at all times; knowledge of proper facility rules and policies is a must.
- Maintain order and discipline among all participants to ensure the comfort of others.
- Keep all lifesaving, first aid, and equipment used in good repair. Be ready to use equipment and have knowledge of proper use
- Report all accidents and incidents
- Adhere to risk management and safety practices as outlined by the RFCC.
- Protect the safety of all participants at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Business management or related field with at least 1-3year(s) of experience in a management type of role
- Must have and maintain all required certifications;
- CPR/AED Certified
- Ability to work with people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds
- Ability to effectively manage employees and volunteers
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff
- Ability to stay organized and on task
- Ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be able to communicate verbally, including projecting one's voice across distances; communicate swiftly and effectively with participants, other RFCC staff. Must be able to see, observe, and hear all participants and make sound judgments, even when distracted by noise and activity; be able to lift 40 pounds or more

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
