Rushmore Management is seeking an experienced Residential Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! As one of the fastest-growing property management companies in the Mid-Atlantic, we're looking for a hands-on leader who is ready to make an impact.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of maintenance experience and be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of a multifamily community, leading the maintenance team, ensuring quality repairs, and helping maintain a safe, well-kept property while delivering excellent service to our residents.
Salary: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Maintenance Leader responsibilities:
- Completing maintenance tickets. Must be knowledgeable in the basics of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance troubleshooting and repair, carpentry, drywall patching and repair, and other general maintenance tasks as they arise.
- Communicating with the property and service manager and working closely with team members to complete service requests and unit make-readies in a timely fashion with high-quality craftsmanship.
- Participating in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Maintaining the property shop in an organized manner.
- Sharing your knowledge with coworkers and assisting each other when challenges arise.
- Going above and beyond the call of duty for residents to provide excellent customer service.
- Managing your time wisely.
- Anticipating problems that residents may have before they even occur.
Maintenance Leader requirements:
- Knowledgeable in all areas of construction
- Previous management experience is a plus
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Possess and bring their own hand tools
