Job Summary
Understand the requirements of Prevention Grant Funded Programs and take specific actions to ensure that grant requirements are fulfilled.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute programs (drugs, mental health, vaping, etc.), including direct service to provide school and/or community-based services per grant objectives
- Implement policies consistent with the State Standards for Prevention in collaboration with other Prevention staff members
- Maintain records in accordance with Program requirements (e.g. monthly statistical reports, performance-based prevention criteria, pre and post-testing, and group topics)
- Design and implement programs and activities that foster prevention Best Practices
- Attend various community organization events and meetings to partner with them to promote prevention activities and achieve grant goals
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services field (Education, social work, counseling, public policy, psychology etc).
- Master’s Degree in human services field (Education, social work, counseling, public policy, psychology etc) is preferred.
- Two years of experience working with families, clients, and/or vulnerable populations in the community.
- Two years of experience working in a behavioral health environment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with a variety of age and cultural groups.
