Rush Translations & Immigrant Services is seeking experienced Haitian creole interpreters in Albany, NY and the surrounding region for in-person USCIS immigration appointments.
Haitian Creole interpreters are in high demand for our growing client base. We are actively building our roster of qualified Haitian creole -English interpreters across the United States.
About the role:
We dispatch interpreters to USCIS field office and asylum office appointments to support clients during interviews. Assignments are scheduled in advance, typically 2-4 hours each, sometimes longer.
Location:
USCIS Office at 500 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205. We also serve clients across the broader Albany, NY and nearby areas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between Haitian creole and English
- Arrive 30 minutes before scheduled appointment time
- Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality
- Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement before your first assignment

Requirements:
- Professional fluency in Haitian Creole and English
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Prior interpretation experience (immigration experience welcome but not required)
