What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Rush Pallets Inc?
Overview
We are looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator to run our grinding and mulch operation. Main role will be operating an excavator feeding wood material into a grinder while remotely monitoring and controlling the grinder. Secondary role will be operating a wheel loader to move the mulch as needed. It is stacked with an 80ft conveyer, allowing large piles and extended periods between adjustments.
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Able to monitor equipment health and perform daily maintenance
- Ideal candidate will have mechanical ability
- Willingness to adapt and change plans repeatedly
We have a strong team here and are looking for the right person to help us grow. The position will be paid hourly with 1.5x Overtime pay for anything past 40 hours, with 50 hours weekly target. Saturday work is optional. Start time is 7 AM daily. Payroll is weekly.
Pay: $900.00 - $1,100.00 per week
