JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing Physical Therapy services under the direction of the Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice in the provision of these services. Physical Therapy Assistance will provide service to pediatric thru geriatric in the settings of inpatient hospital, outpatient hospital, and the schools
Must have in-depth knowledge of principles, literature, standard practices, methods, and new developments in the area of Physical Therapy.
Knowledge of Work Injury Management Systems and philosophy of Care.
Education-
Graduate of a School of Physical Therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Experience-
Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in Indiana.
