JOB SUMMARY
Works independently in performing duties as phlebotomist. Duties include breath alcohol testing, drawing blood from patients, collecting regulated and non-regulated drug screens, charting/telephoning/faxing results, report retrieval, house calls, nursing home draws, and workload collection.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge & Experience
Skills-
Ability to prioritize, good communication and interpersonal skills, maintain composure in all situations, possess professional demeanor, able to adjust to change
Knowledge-
Education-
High School Diploma or Equivalent
NHA or ASCP Certification desired but not required
Experience-
Experience as a phlebotomist is preferred but not required.
Authority and Accountability
Must be able to work with and properly handle different types of people.
