Responsibilities
- Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables efficiently, maintaining proper food handling and safety standards.
- Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure dishes meet quality standards before serving.
- Support the kitchen staff by bussing tables, clearing plates, and resetting tables quickly during busy hours.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen team members using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems to relay special requests or dietary needs.
- Help maintain cleanliness in dining areas and service stations, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Support in organizing and setting up for banquet events or large parties as needed.
- Provide friendly guest service by answering questions about menu items and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with food handling, serving, and basic food preparation techniques.
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of banquet service, bussing, or kitchen operations enhances your fit for this role.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for engaging with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
