Rush Hour Live Escape Games is a small business in Fredericksburg, VA. This is a fun, inclusive, and team-work oriented job! Our goal is to ensure that every group that plays our escape rooms has the best, most memorable time they could possibly have.

Your main job will be to brief players on what to expect during their escape room experience and monitor their game play via closed circuit TV, supplying hints and help as needed. Game Master's are the key component to keeping frustration levels down and the enjoyment levels high. You'll debrief players at the end of the game, celebrate their success with them, and take their victory picture. Must know every detail of game play for up to potentially six escape rooms.
Room resets must be done quickly and accurately. Game Master's are required to know all lock combinations, props and prop placements, and the general ins and outs of the tech involved.
Your pay increases as you qualify to run more rooms:
- Training - $12.50
- 1-5 Rooms - $13
- Fully Qualified - $14
Must also be able to fix common problems and breakage in the rooms. Cleaning is required throughout the shift and at closing time.
You must be able to work the holiday season.

Typical Shift Times:
- Weekday Split Shifts: 12PM-5PM, 4PM-10PM
- Fridays: 12PM-11PM (Potentially 4-11PM for students)
- Saturdays: 10PM-11PM
- Sundays: 11PM - 8PM
Game Master's start on weekends only, and are scheduled for a max of 2 out of the 3 weekend days (Fri, Sat, Sun). These shifts are longer so great for students who want to get a lot of hours out of only 2 days!
Weekday shifts are exclusive to fully qualified Game Masters.
