What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sterile Processing Tech/Certified position at RUSH Health?
$2,000 sign-on bonus (must be certified to qualify)
Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting in the activities of the Sterile Processing Department. Responsibilities include decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of sterile items to the OR and throughout the hospital.
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma /GED preferred.
- Certification with (IAHCSMM) preferred
- Knowledge of a case cart system.
- Ability to take call and work weekends.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple tray systems.
- One year of experience in Sterile Processing preferred.
RUSH transfers and internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.

The pay range for each role reflects RUSH’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
