Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst, University Applications, serves as the lead strategic liaison between university business stakeholders and the technical team. This role is responsible for supporting and advancing multiple enterprise university applications, including Student Information Systems (SIS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Learning Management Systems (LMS), with a particular focus on Workday Student SIS.
The position leads business analysis efforts across academic, administrative, and student-facing functions of the university, partnering closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support the successful delivery of scalable, integrated systems. The Senior Business Analyst provides high-level business analysis, supports application lifecycle activities, and ensures that university needs are effectively communicated to technical and applications teams.
In addition to performing advanced business analysis, the Senior Business Analyst leads, mentors, and supervises Business Analysts, establishes standards and best practices, and partners closely with the Director for Academic & Research Computing and the Manager for University Applications to ensure consistent, high-quality cross-functional outcomes. The role focuses on cross-functional strategy, governance alignment, and enterprise level process design, acting as a trusted advisor to both business leaders and D&IS Academic & Research Computing leadership.
