Glazier - Commercial Glass/Window/Door Installer

Full-time - $1000.00 Sign on Bonus

$25.00-$36.00 per hour, DOE

7:30 am - 4:30 pm with variations as needed

Job Description:

Installation of storefronts, doors, curtain walls, and windows in commercial buildings.

Previous glazing, construction, or related trade experience preferred but not required.

Work Requirements:

· Physical ability to lift and handle heavy glass safely (75 pounds)

· Ability to measure, cut, install, and repair glass.

· Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and measurements.

· Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and at heights.

· Be willing to learn any items needed to complete the projects.

· Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and/or willingness to learn.

· Basic knowledge on how to use hand and power tools.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Dedicated to providing quality workmanship.

· Valid driver’s license with ability to be insured to drive company vehicles.

· Be willing to work overtime.

· Be willing to travel out of town.

· Able to take directions and follow through with instructions to complete an install.

· Willingness to lead and train inexperienced team members.

· Able to follow manufacturer installation instructions.

· Willing to work outside in all conditions.

· Strong teamwork skills and ability to work effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and others to complete projects safely and efficiently.
