What you’ll need to be our EHS-CB Teacher:
Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent coursework in early childhood development, focusing on infants and toddlers
Willingness and enthusiasm to work directly with and support children in a hands on classroom environment
Previous experience in a classroom environment, preferred

What you’ll do as the EHS-CB Teacher:
Deliver safe and developmentally appropriate learning experiences through active supervision that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
Create a culture of safety by effectively implementing and maintaining classroom curriculum, routines, and assessments
Engage families as active partners in their child development through communication, home visits, conferences, and transition plans
Ensure inclusive learning by supporting children with special needs or IEPs and implementing positive support plans in alignment with program policies
Collaborate with teaching staff to strengthen classroom practices and overall program quality

Rural Utah Child Development (RUCD) is a comprehensive child development program designed to meet the educational, emotional, social, and health needs of children. The RUCD team works well together to provide strong support and leadership, creating a consistent and quality learning environment. Children receive individualized lesson plans with developmentally appropriate learning experiences, and families are involved with their children’s education while they receive assistance with personal goals, parenting information, and leadership through parent committees and Policy Council.
