  • Salary Range:** Lead I $21.96 -- $58.53 per/hr./ Lead II $23.93 - $63.80 (Represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position)

]{.underline}**Provides information, assistance and comprehensive case management services to individuals and families. Assesses needs, develops and monitors implementation of service plans, makes appropriate referrals and serves as a client advocate with other service providers. Implement trauma-invested practices that support social emotional and self-regulation skills. Knowledge of related community resources and state and federal requirements specific to the area of service.

**[General Responsibilities (Essential Functions)]{.underline}**

  • Supervise and conduct educational preschool classes using research-based curricula; ensure the physical environment and lesson plans meet developmentally appropriate standards for children ages three to five.
  • Recruit, enroll, and support families through initial interviews, needs assessments, orientation, and ongoing communication; provide advocacy, case management, and referrals to community resources.
  • Monitor child development and educational outcomes, including conducting screenings, assessments, and creating individual child plans; track progress and ensure follow-up on health and dental services.
  • Coordinate and facilitate family engagement activities, including Parent Teacher Conferences, Home Visits, parent events, and policy committee involvement; support parents in setting goals and accessing resources.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data systems for children, families, and program services; oversee classroom and building maintenance; contribute to program development and attend required trainings and meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

*[Lead Teacher/Advocate Level I:]{.underline}*

High school diploma or GED **[and]{.underline} o**ne of the following educational certificates or degrees:

  • An Associate degree in Early Childhood Education; **or**
  • An Associate degree in a related field to Early Childhood Education and coursework equivalent to a major relating to ECE; **[or]{.underline}**
  • A Professional Development Plan to meet one of the above educational requirements completed within the required time frame **[and]{.underline}** at least one year experience working with children in an educational preschool.
  • One year experience working with adults in an educational or social service capacity. Experience as a supervisor preferred.

A Baccalaureate, or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education; **[or]{.underline}**

A Baccalaureate or advanced degree in a related field to Early Childhood Education, and coursework equivalent to a major relating to Early Childhood Education.
