You will build relationships with healthcare organizations and decision-makers, identify new opportunities, and help grow RPA's presence in communities that need mental health services.
The Role: What to Expect
- Location: Based in our Grand Forks, ND office.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare organizations, administrators, providers, and other key decision-makers.
- Growth-Focused: Identify new opportunities and help expand RPA's mental health services into new communities and facilities.
- Travel: Travel as needed to meet with potential partners, attend meetings, conferences, and networking events.
- Business Development: Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, schools, senior living facilities, and other potential healthcare partners.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare administrators, providers, and decision-makers to promote RPA's services.
- Sales & Growth: Work toward established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas through prospecting, meetings, presentations, and securing new business opportunities.
- Presentations & Proposals: Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of prospective partners.
- Market Research: Research healthcare markets, industry trends, and potential opportunities for expansion.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to support the successful implementation of new partnerships and services.
- Industry Knowledge: Maintain an understanding of telehealth services, mental health care, healthcare systems, and relevant industry practices.
- Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and business development activities and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Networking: Attend conferences, networking events, and other professional opportunities to represent Rural Psychiatry Associates and develop new relationships.
- Administrative Support: Complete additional business development and administrative duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Proven ability to develop relationships and successfully pursue new business opportunities.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to confidently communicate the value of RPA's services to potential healthcare partners.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, telehealth, and mental health services preferred.
- Goal-oriented and motivated with the ability to meet established sales goals and quotas.
- Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other business development tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed for meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.
